What should I do if my transaction is declined but I still see charges?Updated 8 months ago
If you encounter a situation where your transaction has been declined, yet there are charges or 'pending' amounts reflected on your bank statement, please understand that these are authorizations and not actual charges. When an order is placed, the bank checks for available funds, and if the funds are sufficient, they are set aside until the transaction is complete. Should the transaction be declined, the bank will automatically return the 'pending' funds to your account.
This reversal process can take between 1 to 3 business days, depending on your banking institution. Rest assured; your money will be refunded for all failed transactions back to the original mode of payment.
If you continue to see such charges after the expected reversal period, we recommend that you contact your bank to inquire about the status of these transactions as we cannot speak towards them on our end.
